Restaurant Souvlaki Village Grec: Authentic Greek Delights in Laval

I ordered Chicken Souvlaki which came with rice, potatoes (can be fries or Greek potato), and salad (Greek or lettuce). The portions are big but very tasty. We ordered Baklava and it was absolutely delicious, I wished they had black tea, it would go so well with Baklava. The only issue was that the place wasn’t very clean, lots of food and dirt on the carpet!

I've heard this restaurant was pretty authentic and I was not disappointed The inside has a very nice decor and it's pretty clean ! Food was good, love the presentation, portions was great, my family & I and we had a great time here! (We went eat lunch together) The only thing from my first experience in this Souvlaki place was the service kinda bit slow when we went there everytime we tried to raise our hands few times to ask to one of the waiter/waitress but aside of that, everything was good, will come back again in the futur!

I enjoyed going to Souvlaki Village. They always have awesome Greek music playing, you feel at home and the staff is very friendly. The service was quick and efficient. Their salad, wow!! Souvlaki pita was flavorful, and the chicken brochette was bigger than expected . I did find the fried calamari a bit chewy. The quantity was great for 2 people We were served toasted bread. However, they were not fresh. I asked for them to be replaced, and 30 seconds later, I got the exact same thing that we did not end up eating. I wouldn't have minded waiting a few minutes for fresh and hot ones

Update my review: against my will, I have to change my review. I really loved this restaurant, last week we ordered 2 meals. It was fine the lamb was a bit salty so we asked for change and they did. Butmy red line is respect. The waitress was not respectful at all. She threw the bill to our table while we didn’t ask for the bill. And when we wanted to pay she got her nice face. We paid the tip anyway. But so disappointed. I hope the manger pays more attention to the staff they hire. Because despite the delicious food I might not go there anymore. My first time trying Greek food it was really delicious. big portion of food. Great service and reasonable prices. We didn’t pay for the desert and we had coffee and cake after our meal . I will go there again.

What an amazing experience… It’s starts off with an amazing hostess (sadly forgot her name, sorry) that greats you with an amazingly beautiful, refreshing smile, followed up by Georges the waiter who is extremely professional, funny and charming. Then the food comes and it’s an explosion of amazing flavour… it instantly became my favourite Grec restaurant ever… I, not only recommend it, but strongly suggest that you try it out, it’s a must…try it and you will thank me…

Greece inside Laval! I liked the greek beer, The food was very good, tasty and more than enough if you are hungry. A very remarkable thing for me was the decoration of the restaurant. Wherever you see you will identify greek elements. The attention was fast and very kind. I am happy that I was able to travel to Greece during my lunch break! :-)
